About Vanfest
Canada's Premier Truck Show, is held annually at the Springwater Conservation Area in Aylmer, Ontario.
Show-goers have come to Vanfest to see the unique and outstanding displays of trucks that our sport has to offer.
Vanfest has pulled out all the stops to ensure that this is the very best and entertaining truck show ever in Canada. The stage is set, and the trucks are better than ever. From nostalgic panels and pickups to tricked out minivans, Vanfest has got all this and so much more, with over 300 trucks in attendance last year, including vans, panels, slammed minis and more, kick-ass trucks, incredible works of art, vivid paint on bodies that have been injected, frenched, stretched, chopped and slammed.
Trucks that can only set the imagination into a state of euphoria and make you not want to leave.
Vanfest has established itself as a pinnacle of Canadian Van and Truck event, and a must see on your calendar.
Tickets
Q: When do ticket go on sale?
A: Tickets will be available a December 6th 1pm est 2024 here on the website -
Q: What tickets will be available?
A: Tickets will be available as Pre-registration and Late purchase rates including Show Day tickets, Day Pass tickets and Camping tickets.
50/50 draw tickets will be sold on site
Q: Will tickets be available on site?
A: Yes, tickets will be sold by our gate team - Cash or through the website only at the main gate.
Q: What payment methods are accepted and where?
A: The website - Accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay
At Main Gate - You may purchase from the website at the gate (cell signal is weak in the park) or cash. If you need cash, Aylmer is only a few minutes away for a bank machine.
Q: If I purchase online what will we get as tickets?
A: Upon completion of ticket purchases, you will receive and email that you provide during the process. The email will include your receipt, printable tickets, a scannable QR code for those who don't want to print. Tickets will also have an option to put the ticket in your digital Apple or Google wallet.
Q: When will we get our wrist bands for the event?
A: Once you have provided your printed or digital tickets to the gate team, they will provide you with the appropriate wrists bands based on your purchase.
Van and Truck Show
Q: I just want to show my van/truck on Saturday, can I do that?
A: Yes, gates open at 8:00am. Show vehicles need to be on the show field by 10:00am before judging begins. If you arrive after 10:00am on Saturday you may not be judged but can still be on the show field if there is room.
Q: What time does the show and shine end?
A: The show ends at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Awards begin roughly 6:00pm.
Q: What time can spectators enter the show?
A: June 7th 2025 after 8:00am. The will be cleared of all day pass wrist bands by 8pm. You may purchase a weekend pass at the main gate to stay for the bands or stay over night.
Q: What is classified as a show vehicle?
A: Any modified or stock van or truck is welcome. If the vehicle is not in condition to be a show vehicle it may be stopped entering the show field and parked in the general lot. Sorry no cars or wagons.
Q: Will I be provided a wristband for show day?
A: Yes, each show vehicle will receive 2 show day wrist bands. This permits you to enter at Saturday June 7th 8:00am until after the awards at 6pm. If you have a weekend wristband you must still purchase a Show Ticket to participate.
Gate Times
Q: What time does the main gate open?
A: Thursday June 5th at 10:00am the gates open for the weekend festivities.
Your event ticket welcomes you on Friday to Sunday. If you want to arrive on Thursday, you will need to purchase the early event arrival ticket.
Q: Can I arrive before the event?
A: Yes, you may arrive earlier than Vanfest weekend. You must plan to arrive before June 5th by booking a campsite with the Springwater Conservation Area directly.
Q: What time will the gates be open over the weekend?
A: Thursday and Friday the main gate is open 10:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday the main gate will be open 8:00am to 10:00pm
Security will be in the park and at the main gate throughout the weekend and during close gate hours.
Q: Am I able to enter the park outside of open hours?
A: You will be able to enter the park before/after hours with applicable wrist bands only. Security will not permit anyone in the park without wristbands or sell passes.
Q: Do I need to wear a wrist band for the event?
A: Yes, under no circumstances are you permitted to not wear it. Anyone found not wearing a wristband will be removed from the grounds.
Camping
Q: Do I need to purchase camping tickets?
A: Yes, you will need to purchase tickets to Camping for Vanfest Weekend. Your pass will include 2 Weekend wristbands.

Q: What Camping tickets will be available?

A: For Vanners, tenters class "B" vans there will be a specific ticket with 2 weekend wristbands.
For travel trailers, 5th wheels, Class "A" and "C" RV's will have a specific ticket with 2 weekend wristbands
Q: Do I need to purchase a Show Vehicle Ticket if I purchase camping?
A: No, Camping tickets include two weekend passes and one show vehicle entry.

​​Q: Can I reserve a specific site?
A: No, while we are on a campground with site numbers, we don’t use them at Vanfest. When you arrive, you will be instructed to drive around until you find an open spot you like. Please set up camp, don’t spread out too much so we can make sure everyone arriving will have space to set up as well. If you are too spread out, we may ask you to move a few things for arriving guests to have a space. Please leave your site cleaner than when you found it.
Q: If we arrive on Wednesday can I rope off a space for my friends arriving on Friday?
A: Short answer No. No roping off is permitted. If staff find areas roped off we will remove the rope/tape. If you arrive first you can politely let people know you are expecting a few more people and figure out how much space you need for them.
Q: What time can I arrive?
A: The main gate opens at 10:00am on Thursday morning for early arrivals. Thursday arrivals must purchase the "Early Arrival Ticket" when buying your camping ticket. Friday and Saturday the gatehouse opens at 8:00am. The gates close at midnight.
Q: I am taking my an extra vehicle, can I park on our campsite?
A: Extra vehicles can park on our onsite lot up by the gatehouse. Only Show Vans and Trucks or RV tow vehicles are allowed on your campsite. You are welcome to unload then drive up to park in the parking lot. If we see an extra car on your lot you will be asked to move it.
Cancellation Policy
Q: Can I get a refund for tickets I have purchased?
A: No, we have a no refund policy once any purchase has been completed.
Q: Can I resell any tickets I cannot use?
A: No, tickets are not transferable or re-sellable. The name on the ticket must be the recipient of the wristbands.
Q: Is there a rain date for the event?
A: No, Vanfest is a rain or shine event.
General Questions
Q: I really want to bring my pocket bike/ mini bike, e-bike etc
A: Sorry, due to a former attendee ripping up the Conservation Trails, the Conservation Authority has banned these. You can bring a bicycle or a mobility scooter.

Q: I need to stay in touch with home/ work. How is the cell reception?
A: Usually to get cell reception you would need to stand at the road for reception. A new cell tower was built in the area in 2024, but some carriers are still not great.
Q: If I lose something where should I go?
A: Please bring any lost items to the gatehouse and If you lost something we will try our best to try to get it back to you.
Q: I really don’t want to cook, will there be food vendors?
A: Yes, we have a few food vendors to cover you from breakfast to dinner and munchies too !

Q: Do I really have to wear the wristband.
A: Yes, yes you do. It's how we know you have paid and are registered to be here. Staff and security will be driving around in golf carts to do wristband checks. If your wristband rips, bring the old one to the main gate and we will happily replace it.

Q: Can I get Ice on site?
​
A: Yes, Vanfest has a team driving around periodically selling bags of ice.
